Mr. Wright listened to my "must haves" and drew out a sketch of my house while I sat there. I signed a contract and he started to work. My situation was unique in that I had lost my home in a fire and still had a mortgage on it. He was very patient with getting the insurance settlement to pay off and then helping secure the mortgage thru the person he uses. When the Mortgage person gave the go ahead, we set up a time for me to go to his office to select my finishes and he even provided an interior decorator to help me.
My home is exactly what I needed and I love it. Everyone who comes in my home loves the granite counters, the beautiful custom cabinets, the inside trim and moldings, and the abundance of light from all the windows. I requested a lot of windows and he found a way to install 18 in all. My garage is also one of my favorite things. As with anything there were a few little things that needed attention after I moved in. Rhonda in his office was very helpful in advising me on the "how to’s" and followed up to make sure the subs had corrected the things needed.
I would recommend Mr Wright and his office team to everyone, whether you are building large or small.

We were able to look at a model home and several others under construction so that we had a better idea of the type of home that we wanted to have built. Mr. Wright patiently drew floor plans for us until we had just the layout that we were looking for.
We were able to meet with an interior decorator who was very helpful in picking out colors and trim for both the inside and outside of the house. We also met with lighting contractors, cabinet makers, and other vendors who were all helpful and knowledgeable.
The entire Wright Homes staff was both professional and courteous throughout the entire construction process. The result is a well-constructed attractive home that we are proud to show our friends and will be living in for many years to come. We located Wright Homes through extensive research of custom home builders in the Birmingham area. During our first meeting with Richard, he walked us through the process of constructing a home on our already purchased land, followed by a tour of properties he and his team recently constructed. Soon after the initial meeting, we began the exciting process of designing our new home. Richard was great at offering suggestions with respect to design and layout. We really enjoyed the design process and watching Richard hand draw our floor plan and exterior elevation as we talked with him about our needs and wants in our family home. Wright Homes just finished building our new house and it is absolutely beautiful! The whole process was very easy. I was able to choose every single item I wanted for a truly custom home (not like other builders that have you choose between a few options.) Our house was completed when we were told it would be, and Mr. Wright is very meticulous so it is absolutely perfect. The ladies in his office, as well as his preferred mortgage company, were also so friendly and helpful, and made the whole process very fun and exciting!

He is great at explaining things, and he was very patient with me and my OGD tendencies. He was also very understanding with the things we wanted to change. If we asked a question they couldn't answer, they found the answer and got right back with us. They made this experience easy, enjoyable and exciting.

When we started the search for a custom home builder we really didn’t know where to begin. This being our second home to be built we knew what kind of house we wanted and how we planned to make it unique. From the beginning we knew we had found the company to build exactly what we wanted. From start to finish the process was very orderly and understandable.
